MINERAL AND METALLIC INDUSTRIES IN CHATTISGARH STATE (INDIA) AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION

This paper comprises brief information about the mineral resources and development of metallic industries in Chhattisgarh. The author has presented some valuable suggestion for the growth of mineral and metallic industries to the Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The author found the steel, mining and Ispat industries are helpful to increase the HDI {Human Development Index] rank. The cities which consist mines land cluster industries like AL having high HDI rank. The policies of Govt. of Chhattisgarh on mineral based industries require some improvement by proper mechanism. Several causes like transportation linkage with mining site, Govt.
